The Kingdom of Araucanía and Patagonia (Spanish: Reino de la Araucanía y de la Patagonia; French: Royaume d'Araucanie et de Patagonie), sometimes referred to as Kingdom of New France (French: Royaume de Nouvelle-France), was an unrecognized state in south america in the south of Chile and part of Argentina who existed for two years, in the present the country only exist as a unrecognized state in the present.

Since this is an unrecognized country, it has no real and official representation in the world of hattrick nor in real life, so its existence is only for entertainment purposes.

Under this premise, nationality for these purposes is obtained under certain conditions

1. that the player is Chilean or Argentine in hattrick

2. that the player has a surname of Mapuche origin or derived from what was the territory of Araucanía and Patagonia (for example Millarehue, Huaiquipan, Tripailaf, etc.)

3. Exceptionally, it may be a player of Chilean or Argentine origin with a surname of French origin.
