Youth Player
Wiercigroch, son of Polish immigrants, started to play in Oostend at de garnaaltjes, the youth team of Team Scampi. He became the first keeper of the team, untill he was promoted to the first team. Marcel Wiercigroch was especially noticed for his leading abilities.
Career at SVV Red Star Brussels
Marcel Wiercigroch was recruited to the team in the long term plans of the team: Wiercigroch would become a key player in the future of the team, and could later even become the coach of the team. It is expected that Wiercigroch will start to play friendlies in the late Season 42, and will start to become first keeper in the course of Season 43 or 44.
