Israel (יִשְׂרָאֵל in Hebrew, إِسْرَائِيل in Arabic) is a Near East Asian country. It was the 55th nation to join the Hattrick World.

The Kingdoms of Israel and Judah emerged during the Iron Age, and, in over 3 000 years, it was destroyed or conquered by several empires: Neo-Assyrians, Babylonians, Egyptians, Persians and Hellenistics, Romans, Byzantines, Muslims, Ottomans. That provoked the Jewish diaspora, the dispersion out of their ancestral homeland, followed by waves of immigration during the 19th century and following the Second World War.
Israel's military occupation of the Palestinian territories is the longest in modern times. Efforts to resolve the Israeli–Palestinian conflict have not resulted in a final peace agreement.
History
- Israeli league was created in September 2002 (global season 17).
- The country was restarted after an error. Due to the error, what appears as season 2 is in fact season 1, season 3 is season 2, etc. For example, the displayed season 36 was the 35th season played (note that the strange data behave is not corrected in the National trophies table below).
- The country started with 49 Regions, but that very large number was later reduced to 11.
- The league was extended to 4 divisions in local season 4, and then to 8 before the beginning of season 17.
- Israel hosted U-20 World Cup VIII, but NT failed to qualify for the event.
Book of Records
- Further information:
- The first to win a double was Beitar. The second one was Hapoel Nahariya.
- The first team in Israel to reach a divine midfield was Maccabi Feja.
- The first veteran club to complete a full native squad was Bubi the mad bull.
- The first Israeli player to reach Divine was Tsafrir Kline, goalkeeper.
