The National team Azərbaycan represent Azerbaijan in international friendlies and the World Cup.

Azərbaycan began international play during the final rounds of World Cup VIII. The team's first official competition was in qualifying for World Cup IX. Azərbaycan has never advanced out of qualification; their best finish is fifth in their group in qualification for World Cup XIV and World Cup XV.
