Ignacio Lazcano (Turnhout, Belgium) is a Belgian football player who actualy plays for SVV Red Star Brussels. He is a winger.
Early career
Lazcano started his football career in a local youth team in Turnhout, in Antwerpen, Belgium, when he was recruited to local side pug205. He didn't play at this team, but was soon transferred to boeloeboes in Oost-Vlaanderen. Lazcano again never played in this team, but was transferred a couple of weeks later to Antwerp side Desperado's.
Long training period
At Desperado's, Ignacio Lazcano would play in an official football match for the first time. he never became a key element in the team, but would gain some experience in crossing. Lazcano transferred to the Dutch football team sc Nok-Out, but again rarely received an opportunity to play. During the 7 seasons he passed at this team, he only played 10 official matches, and a handfull friendlies. Utterly dissapointed, he asked for a transfer, which he received. He went to the Czech Republic, to the team mafpizzi AC.
Injuries and revalidation
At mafpizzi AC, Lazcano seemed at last be getting the base position in a football team he was hoping for, playing an important number of the official matches of his new team. However, fate would soon decide otherwise: Lazcano soon got injured during the fifth matchday of season 40. This injury would prove to be the start of a long period of injuries and revalidations. Lazcano never fully recovered in the Czech Republic, and asked to be transferred to Italy, the homeland of his parents. He lived with his family in Genoa for some time, at the local team excoto, but only playing one single game at the end of his stay. He was granted a transfer to SVV Red Star Brussels.
Career at SVV Red Star Brussels
SVV Red Star Brussels was desperately looking for reinforcements at its wings, and welcomed Ignacio with open arms. He received a first team position immediatly, and together with Jo Engelen became a key element of the team's wing. Lazcano started to have a more and more important role in the team.

Ignacio Lazcano lives in an appartment in Elsene, Brussels. He is married to the Italian Cristina Delconto, and the couple has one son, Fernando. He is a good friend of fellow teammate Jo Engelen.
