Poland (known to the community as: Polska in local language) is a Central European country. It was the 22nd nation to join the Hattrick World.

The Republic of Poland is 312 696 square kilometres (120 733 sq mi) with a population of nearly 38.5 million people. Capital and largest metropolis is Warsaw.
The Kingdom of Poland was founded in 1025, was partitioned by neighbouring states at the end of the 18th century, and regained independence in 1918. After 1989 events, the communist government was dissolved and Poland reestablished itself as a presidential democratic republic.

History

• Polish league exists since May 2001. It was one of the new leagues for global season 13.
• Poland was extended to ten levels before the beginning of national season 21.
• Poland hosted U-20 World Cup XVI. NT qualified and they reached Round III.

• The first team in Poland was created by heinzo, a Danish user who had family in Poland. His team Legia Gdansk won cup and league. heinzo decided to leave Hattrick after 5 seasons and the older Polish manager in HT became Bobbie (also U-20 coach).
• The first member of the Polish Staff was SpaWn_ who became Mod and GM.
• The first "big" Polish federation was Miszcze i Basta (MiB) (20/05/2002) formed by kOsToR and jerzy, manager of Dziobaki, the best Polish team at the time.
