Bulgaria (България, Balgariya in local language) is an Eastern European country. It was the 54th nation to join the Hattrick World.

Republic of Bulgaria has a population of almost 7 million. Capital and largest city is Sofia.
The Bulgars founded the First Bulgarian Empire in AD 681, which dominated most of the Balkans and significantly influenced Slavic cultures by developing the Cyrillic script.   • The Bulgarian league has existed since in September 2002 (global season 17).
  • The country was restarted after an error. Due to the error, what appears as season 2 is in fact season 1, season 3 is season 2, etc. For example, the displayed season 36 was the 35th season played (note that the strange data behave is not corrected in the National trophies table below).

The history of Bulgarian community started around 2001, more than a year before local league system was created. A lot of users that subscribed for the game in different leagues around the world, find out they were from the same country and they asked for their own league.
