Starting from global season 77 (January 2021), Americas has its own tournament, just like in real life as the [[World Cup]] and [[U-21 World Cup]] qualifiers also function as continental competitions.
All regional National teams in Hattrick are guaranteed a place. North (and Central) America united with South America form the American continent, disputing a single regional competition. The continental championship is played in groups of 6 teams, home and away, over 10 weeks. The best teams from the group stages enter the "final eight".

Since the Americas extend 14,000 km (8,700 mi) from north to south, the climate and ecology vary widely, from arctic tundra to tropical rain forests. The flatter eastern side of the Americas is dominated by large river basins, such as the Amazon, St. Lawrence River / Great Lakes basin, Mississippi, and La Plata.
