Belgian Season 34, or Global Season 47, was the eigth full season in which Red Star Brussels participated, and the seventh in which they participated as Red Star Brussels (before, they used to be known as Red Star Gent). It was also their first season in fifth division, in League V.189.

The team continued with his name Red Star Brussels, or the official name SVV Red Star Brussels.

Stadium

The Red Star Brussels stadium, the Leon Trotski Stadium, had 50 000 seats at the beginning of the season, and was not upgraded.

Season Summary

The team started with the ambition of maintaining its position in fifth division, by scoring 18 points, thus being able to defend the team in the play-offs against degradation. They started very strongly, by immediately winning the first two games in the competition, even ending first in their league.
