Bangladesh (বাংলাদেশ Bangladesh in local language) is a Middle East Asian country. It was the 112th nation to join the Hattrick World.

The People's Republic of Bangladesh (or The country of Bengal) one of the most densely-populated countries in the world with a population exceeding 162 million. The capital and largest city, is Dhaka.
The borders of modern Bangladesh were established with the separation of Bengal and India in August 1947, the only country in the world that was created on the basis of language and ethnicity

  • When it was added to Hattrick, Bangladesh had less than 30 users for the first couple of seasons and only had two divisions. Around season 8 the user base started to increase and continued increasing to around 100.
By the end of 2012 the country was reduced to near 50 users, and it was one of the smallest for number of users. Then the number of active team start to raise again.
  • Though Bangladesh has its own language the forums and press are mostly operated in English. This makes Bangladesh ideal for foreign managers to come and communicate with the local managers.
  • Bangladesh has not hosted any World Cup yet.
