Johannes Castiau (Ledeberg, Belgium) was a Belgian football player who played for SVV Red Star Brussels. He was a goalkeeper.

Youth Player
Castiau started his football career in the streets of Ghent suburb Ledeberg, in Belgium. He showed enormous skills and reflexes as a goalkeeper, his friends used to make a game of it shooting balls in a rapid tempo, and Johannes kicked them all away. Bert Gilis, a local youth scout for Red Star Brussels was asked to come take a look, and he was impressed by the game of the young keeper.
Johannes Castiau was asked to come to play at Red Star Brussels. He eagerly agreed to this propsal, and moved to Red Star at November 30, 2009, by the end of Season 40. He played in every match untill the end of Season 41, when he transferred to the first team.

Senior Career at SVV Red Star Brussels
Johannes Castiau was promoted to the first team by the end of Season 41, and played the last friendly of the season. During Season 42 he gradually became the first keeper of the team.

Later Carreer
He transferred to Dutch side CoCa CoLa. by the end of Season 43, but never got to play there, because of a sudden injury. He stopped playing football after his team quit Hattrick.

Johannes lives in Ledeberg near Ghent, and owns Frituur 't Pleintje.
