Ethiopia (ኢትዮጵያ, Ītyōṗṗyā in Amharic) is an African country. It was the 135th nation to join the Hattrick World.

Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (የኢትዮጵያ ፌዴራላዊ ዲሞክራሲያዊ ሪፐብሊክ in Ge'ez script, which is one of the oldest alphabets still in use in the world) is the most populous landlocked country in the world with over 109 million inhabitants. Its capital and largest city is Addis Ababa.
Ethiopian national identity is grounded in the historic and contemporary roles of Christianity and Islam, and the independence of Ethiopia from foreign rule, stemming from the various ancient Ethiopian kingdoms of antiquity, tracing their roots to the 2nd millennium BCE.

History

  • Ethiopian league has existed since November 2019. It was one of the two new leagues created before global season 73.
