Kenya (Jamhuri ya Kenya in local language) is an African country. It was the 80th nation to join the Hattrick World.
Kenya's is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations and declared of independence in 1963 - after numerous disputes between the UK and the colony led to the Mau Mau revolution, which began in 1952.
History
- Kenyan league has existed since February 2004. It is one of the six new leagues for global season 23.
- On September 2009, the number of Kenyan managers briefly rose from 50 to 220 after an advertising campaign on Facebook organized by kenyan user maina_20; by November 2009, however, the Kenyan users already dropped to 80.
- Kenya hosted U-20 World Cup XII, but NT U-20 failed to qualify for the event.
