Ethiopian national identity is grounded in the historic and contemporary roles of Christianity and Islam, and the independence of Ethiopia from foreign rule, stemming from the various ancient Ethiopian kingdoms of antiquity, tracing their roots to the 2nd millennium BCE.
History
- Ethiopian league has existed since November 2019. It was one of the two new leagues created before global season 73.
- Ethiopia has not hosted any World Cup yet.
