Republic of South Africa is an African country, the 25th nation to join the Hattrick World.

South Africa (Afrikaans: Republiek van Suid-Afrika, Zulu: iRiphabliki yaseNingizimu Afrika, Xhosa: iRiphabliki yaseMzantsi Afrika), is a country located at the southern tip of the African continent. It borders the countries of Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Moçambique, Swaziland, and Lesotho (an independent enclave entirely surrounded by South African territory).
Capitals are Pretoria (executive), Bloemfontein (judicial), Cape Town (legislative), and the Largest city is Johannesburg.
RSA is often referred to as the "rainbow nation" to describe the country's multicultural diversity: South Africans are over 58 million people, about 80 percent of Bantu ancestry.

History

• South African league exists since May 2001, and was created in global season 13.
• During season 1, an error caused a data loss and season had to be restarted. As a side effect, the main national cup was not disputed and started only in season 2.
• South Africa hosted World Cup XV, but failed to qualify for the event.
