Season Synopsis

Name

The team continued with his name Red Star Brussels, or the official name SVV Red Star Brussels.

Stadium

The Red Star Brussels stadium, the Leon Trotski Stadium, had 53.000 seats at the beginning of the season, and was not enlarged.

Season Summary

The ambition of the team this season was to achieve the fifth round in the Belgian Cup, and reaching in the same time a top-3 position in the general ranking of League VI.673. The first objective failed after an unexpected and undeserved defeat in the third round of the Belgian Cup in round 3. The team then focussed completely on the League, and the objective became to win the League, and attain promotion to Division 5 through this. RSB won every match in its league since then, and reached the first position in the league after Matchday 9.
