Joël Crahay (Melle, Belgium) is a former Belgian football player who actualy is the secretary of SVV Red Star Brussels. He was a Forward during his playing carreer.
Early career
Joël Crahay used to play in parks and streets in and around Ghent when he joined the group of young football players that later founded SVV Red Star Brussels.
Career at SVV Red Star Brussels
Joël Crahay was one of the first players who joined SVV Red Star Brussels when the predecessor amateur team Rode Ster Gent was created. He made it to the first team when RSB started in Hattrick. He is considered to be the team's most talented attacker. In his first full season (Season 40), Crahay became topscorer in competition XI.1432 with 13 goals, in Season 41, with 13 goals, he was the best scorer at RSB, and the fourth in the competition. During Season 42, he again arrived on the fourth place of the topscorers-list with 11 goals, and would continue to reach the top 10 scorers list throughout his career. His 118 goals for Red Star Brussels are a team's record, as are his 163 games played. Crahay announced his retirement for the end of Season Season 52. The last competition game of that season, against fc grokgy, was his last game for the team. Crahay became the new secretary of Red Star Brussels, replacing Albertico Ferrero, who became a referee.

Personal Life
Joël Crahay is known by his teammates as friendly and spontaneous, and one of the leaders of the group. He is good friends with his team mate Tom Gaal, who is dating Joëls' sister Lisa. Joël Crahay himself got engaged to Laura Van den brempt, a 22-year old History Student at Ghent University. They got married on April 15th 2010, and live in Brussels.
