Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, with 206 million inhabitants. The federation of Nigeria became a formally independent federation in 1960 and comprises 36 states and 1 Federal Capital Territory, where the capital, Abuja, is located.


History

  • Nigerian league exists since November 2003. It is one of the six new leagues for global season 21.
  • Nigeria has not hosted any World Cup yet.
