He touched the sky when on 30th May 2008 he gained the first historical win in official matches for Kampuchea (against Panamà, match id 170917499), it was the greatest achievement in his career, more than win the cups! He was also a runner for the Italia NT election on the beginning of Season 36 but he loses despite gained 2092 votes (in all the other countries he would have easily won with so many votes!) with a strange and hironical campaing based on youtube videos and critics on the principal opponent and the former NT coach. He was confirmed as U20 Kampuchea coach the successive season (achieving great results in his WCQ group, 15 points losing 2 times just against Portugal, never losing against the big Israel and starting as the worse ranked team; after WC ended the new ranking was 74 of 124) and the season after he finally won Italia NT election after that the previous coach (who beat him at the election) failed to reach some result.
