• Hong Kong's league was created in September 2002 (global season 17), along with Chinese Taipei and other four countries.

• Teams that have requested so were moved from the Hong Kong region of China to Hong Kong new league.

We have now begun moving the teams that have so requested from the Hong Kong region of China to Hong Kong. You can still request this, but the deadline is noon 12:00 HT-Time (European time). The reason why we must be strict with this is because otherwise will both the China cup and the Hong Kong Cup, which both starts on Wednesday, be messed up and no-one wants that to happen! :)

• Hong Kong was extended to maximum six divisions. It happened before the beginning of local season 17.
• After a poll, user decided to change regions name in March 2007.
• Hong Kong has not hosted any World Cup yet.
