Angola (also called Angola in Portuguese) is an African country. It was the 110th nation to join the Hattrick World.

Republic of Angola has a population of 31 millions. The capital and largest city of Angola is Luanda.
The Portuguese colony that became Angola did not have its present borders until the early 20th century because of resistance by local groups. Independence was achieved in 1975 as the Marxist–Leninist People's Republic of Angola. Since 2002 the state has become a presidential constitutional republic.
