Sealand Cup XXXIX or Кубок Силенда XXXIX (Kubok Silenda) was the thirty-ninth edition of the Sealand Cup, the friendly competition of the Sealand federation and was held in (Dutch) season 57. The final was held at Luzhniki on 25 July 2018, where Appy United defeated De Snelle Jelles 3–1 to win their first Sealand Cup. This was the first season that the Fort Roughs Cup - a consolation tournament for teams that did not progress from the group stage - was played. Defending champions De Snelle Jelles did not compete in the tournament.
Participating teams
Twenty teams participated in Sealand Cup XXXIX, including six previous champions. Like the previous season, there were no debuting teams. Five teams were still active in a national cup tournament at the time of the draw and could therefore not participate.

Seeding
The draw for the group stage was held in Heeze on 31 May 2018.
Teams were seeded into four pots based on their Sealand-Coefficient. The Sealand-Coefficient was determined by league level, league results, Hatstats and results in the previous three Sealand Cups. Teams from the same region could not be drawn against each other.
Group Stage
The Group Stage of the thirty-ninth Sealand Cup ran from 6 to 20 June 2018.
Format
The teams in each group played each other in a single round-robin format, playing the other teams in the group once (at home or away). Each team earned 3 points for a win in regular time, 2 points for a win after extra time or after a penalty shoot-out, 1 point for a loss after extra time or after a penalty shoot-out and 0 points for a loss in regular time. For goal difference purposes, matches decided after extra time or after a penalty shoot-out were treated as if the match had been decided after a golden goal (regardless of the actual number of goals scored). This point system is similar to the system used by the (real-life) IIHF for international ice hockey matches. The order of play in each group was pre-determined (the highest-seeded team would face the teams from Pot III, IV and II in that particular order), except for Группа А (the second and third round were switched because matches in the third week had to be played in the Netherlands).
The top-two teams of each group, the best third-place team and one wild card team advanced to the second group stage. All other teams qualified for the Fort Roughs Cup. If two or more teams were level on points, the head-to-head result was the main tie-breaking criterium. The wild card was awarded to (one of) the leader(s) of the fair play classification that did not win their group.

Wild card
One team could receive a wild card for the second group stage, based on the fair play classification. The team with the best fair play record (10 points for each match played, 3 penalty points for each single yellow card and 9 penalty points for each red card) received the wild card and was seeded sixth (best non-group winner) in the second group stage.
Group winners (shaded blue in this ranking) could not receive the wild card (as they were already assured of a top-five seeding). If multiple teams were eligible, the team with the best group stage results received the wild card. If no teams were eligible (all teams with the best fair play record were group winners), this spot in the knockout stage was transferred to the next-best third-placed team.
* AC Luna Spirit (+5) won the wild card over F.C. Memorice (–2) because of a better goal difference within the top-three of their group. Because they were already qualified to the second group stage (as runner-up), their spot was transferred to Fc Ajax Sneek 08 (next-best third-placed team).
Second Group Stage
The next stage of the tournament was the Second Group Stage. Twelve teams qualified for this stage (the group winners and runners-up from all five groups, accompanied by the two best third-placed teams). Teams tied on points would be ranked by the results between the top-three teams only.

Knockout Stage
The final stage of the tournament was the Knockout Stage. Four teams qualified for this stage (the group winners from all three groups, accompanied by the best third-placed team). Teams tied on points would be ranked by the results between the top-three teams only.
Draw
The teams were seeded first to fourth, based on their result in the second group stage (only results between the top-three teams were taken into account when teams were tied on points). In the semi-finals, the highest-seeded teams would face the lowest-seeded teams. An exception was made for teams that qualified from the same group: these teams could not meet each other in the semi-finals.
The semi-finals and finals were played at a neutral venue. Luzhniki, where also the final of the 2018 FIFA World Cup was played, was selected as host of the final.
