The Fourteenth World Cup tournament took place from 19 February to 18 April 2010.

124 national teams (no new entrants) played a total of 840 matches in the 16 groups of qualification in order to define the
32 participants to the final stage held in Thailand. The host nation was not among the qualified teams.
In semi-finals Belgium defeated Chile 2-1 and Hellas defeated USA 3-2. Hellas won the tournament after beating Belgium 2–1 and secure the country's first world title after the double delusion of a lost final in World Cup XII and the faild qualification as host in World Cup XIII.
Chilean player Moisés Almi was entitled top scorer with his 7 goals.
As Germany celebrates it's worthy victory in the 13th edition of the Hattrick World Cup, plans are already afoot for the next tournament. This time we go East, to Asia and the ancient kingdom of Prathet Thai! Qualification games will commence on September 25.

Belgium and Greece in World Cup final

It will be an all-European final in the 14th edition of the Hattrick World Cup as Belgium takes on Hellas (Greece) tonight at 20.00 HT-time.
The final takes place under the still ash-free skies of Thailand, but don't jet off just yet because it is all covered right here on Hattrick as well, of course. Very welcome all, and let the best team win!

Greece wins Hattrick World Cup XIV!

The new Hattrick World Cup champions are Hellas, or Greece as we usually call it. Hellas beat Belgium 2 to 1 in an exciting final, which they dominated. It was never quite out of reach for the Belgians until the final quarter, when, following a red card for Belgium, Yiannis Koutetes scored the winning goal for Greece.
