The Fifteenth World Cup tournament took place in South Africa from 1 October to 28 November 2010 (the year this country also hosted the real-life FIFA world cup).

124 national teams (no new entrants) played a total of 840 matches in the 16 groups of qualification in order to define the
32 participants to the final stage held in South Africa, the country that also hosted the real-life FIFA world cupin 2010. Anyway, in this tournament the host South Africa failed to qualify.
In semi-finals two scandinavians team look forward to replay the final of World cup IV, but Sverige was surprisingly defeated by Bolivia 0-2 and only Norge found the way to the final defeating Schweiz 3-2. The last game is a triumphant parade for the Norwegians that secure the country's second world title with a 2-0 to Bolivia.
Norway also had the top scorer player Morten Hansen among its ranks. He scored 9 goals.
While celebrations for new World Cup holders Greece may still rage on, it is time for the other national teams in Hattrick to set out on a new campaign, with new teams and fresh hopes. The 15th Hattrick World Cup will be played in South Africa, with qualifications starting in mid-May and the final kicking off on November 28. Molweni!

Sweden has done it, Germany as well, and now also Norway has won the World Cup more than once! Because late yesterday evening in the World Cup final on Field of Dreams in South Africa, Norway beat Bolivia by 2-0, after having scored early goals in both the first and second half.
