The seventh staging of the cup marked the retirement of Magneto from the leadership of the community. The competition was now conducted by Frunza, the top dog of Season 6, who brought a stricter approach and introduced several innovations. One of the key changes was the implementation of a new team coefficient system, which determined the pot placement of each team in the draw based on past performance. As a result, the old ranking system was abolished. Two parallel contests accompanied the cup: the fourth edition of the betting game Prono Cupa Brăilei and a brand-new original quiz focused on the history, geography, and culture of the Brăila region.

Season 7 was the last edition held in this format. The 64 teams were divided into sixteen groups of four, with the top two advancing to the knockout stage. The draw took place on 29 December 2010 and was attended by over 15 people. The prize pool remained high at 930 days of Hattrick Supporter, distributed to all teams reaching the Round of 16 or further. All sixty-four spots in the cup were filled in less than 19 hours from registration opening—a new record. The matches began on Wednesday, 19 January 2011, and the final was played on 9 March, 2011.

The runner-up of Season 4, Skulblaka Champions, finally claimed the trophy after the most thrilling final to date, defeating the bookies’ favorite, Magneto, owner of C.F. Brăila. After 90 minutes, the score stood at 3–3. In the 109th minute, Matusalém Domingues scored the golden goal, bringing eternal glory to the_champion.
